Stephen Lewis engages primarily in criminal, civil, and matrimonial litigation. He has over forty years of extensive experience representing clients in federal and New York state courts including many high-profile cases. Mr. Lewis served for six years as an Assistant District Attorney in Westchester County under the Honorable Carl Vergari, and was Section Chief in the Superior Court Trial Division. He has served as Special District Attorney and Special Prosecutor in investigations and prosecutions in Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam Counties, and is the Town Prosecutor for zoning, town ordinance violations, and New York State Police traffic violations for the towns of Somers and North Salem. In addition to litigating cases before trial courts, Mr. Lewis has tried many cases and argued appeals before the New York State Appellate Division, Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the New York Court of Appeals.
